What is your role at HOPE, in your own words?
I oversee and direct the music at Hope along with planning worship sets, equipping our musician volunteers and facilitating any speciality worship experiences throughout the year.
What’s your favorite verse/passage of scripture and why?
Matthew 11: 28-30
An unhealthy me searches for soul rest in hobbies, activities, or just staying busy. I love this reminder in Matthew that I have a savior Jesus, who invites me to come to him bringing my burdens and he’ll give me the true rest I’m looking for.
What’s something that brings you joy?
A slow rainy day at home with my wife and our golden retriever, Maple. Enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning and spending quality time together.
What’s your go-to comfort food or coffee order?
I love a shaken espresso or a pour over at home
If you could instantly become an expert in something, what would it be?
Art. My grandmother was an artist throughout her career and made such beautiful paintings, I would love to be able to create pieces like she did.
What’s something people might not know about you?
I’m weirdly good at a video game called Rocket League
