What is your role at HOPE, in your own words?
I get to do a lot of the behind the scenes work that helps make the larger events at HOPE possible—Christmas, Easter, Sundays, baptisms, Jingle Jam, Springle Jam, and the list goes on.
What’s your favorite verse/passage of scripture and why?
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart: do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.” Proverbs 3:5-6 It is my daily reminder to trust in God and remember that I am not in control of my path, even when I really want to be.
What’s something that brings you joy?
Traveling with my family
What’s your go-to comfort food or coffee order?
Chocolate for sure and a good cappuccino
If you could instantly become an expert in something, what would it be?
Gardening…I love a beautiful garden!
What’s something people might not know about you?
I have run 3 out of the 5 world major marathons…maybe someday the other 2.
