What is your role at HOPE, in your own words?
I am part of the team that creates spaces and events for kids to know that they are loved.
What’s your favorite verse/passage of scripture and why?
“Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” – James 1:2-4
I’ve always loved this verse and how it speaks to the truth that God uses all things for His good. Even the really hard times in our lives are used in God’s redemptive work.
What’s something that brings you joy?
Being Whitney’s husband, and Adalyn and Maysie’s father.
What’s your go-to comfort food or coffee order?
I think I could literally eat pizza for every meal for the rest of my life, and never get tired of it. I love pizza!
If you could instantly become an expert in something, what would it be?Pottery. I took a ceramics class in high school and loved it, but never really passed the skill level of making bowls.
What’s something people might not know about you?
Both my mother and my wife have previously worked at Hope before me. None of us worked here at the same time, but all three of us worked in Hope Kids.
