What is your role at HOPE, in your own words?
I primarily work with men who lead small groups. I also mentor several guys and from time to time teach classes at Hope. As a member of the Men of Hope leadership team I help organize various events and classes for men.
What’s your favorite verse/passage of scripture and why?
Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through Him who strengthens me, and Habakkuk 1:5 – Look, wonder and be amazed for I am going to do a work in your day that you would not believe even if you were told.
I like these verses because they speak of God’s power that is available to us as believers.
What’s something that brings you joy?
Playing a role in helping others grow in their faith in Jesus.
What’s your go-to comfort food or coffee order?
McDonald’s iced tea, half and half, please.
If you could instantly become an expert in something, what would it be?
History of the early Church.
What’s something people might not know about you?
I was a tentmaker missionary in China for 7 years during the 1980s.
