What is your role at HOPE, in your own words?
I’m privileged to witness and champion the incredible work of HOPE to the world – extending the invitation to find purposeful life and community with a focus on Jesus Christ.
What’s your favorite verse/passage of scripture and why?
The verse Isaiah 40:31 eased my mind and grounded my faith during a difficult time managing health concerns as a child.
“Yet those who wait for the LORD will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary.” (NIV, Isaiah 40:31)
What’s something that brings you joy?
Professionally? When a plan comes together.
Personally? Learning new things from a passionate expert.
Socially? Good conversations around a campfire.
What’s your go-to comfort food or coffee order?
A #3 from Pho Tay Do and Vietnamese-style iced coffee. (Don’t forget to bring cash.)
If you could instantly become an expert in something, what would it be?
The immutable laws of the natural universe… that, or guitar.
What’s something people might not know about you?
I love Indian food, own over 100 pets, and can tune a mean carburetor.
