Stephen Wagner

4th + 5th Lead

What is your role at HOPE, in your own words?

I partner with families and volunteers to create environments that allow 4th and 5th graders to be seen, loved, and heard in ways that are intentionally offered to them. I also work with the Students Team to provide a smooth transition for families as they take the leap from Kids to Middle School. Most importantly, I am humbled to be a small part of helping kids know Jesus and walking along side them in their relationship with our Heavenly Father.

What’s your favorite verse/passage of scripture and why?

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭1‬-‭3‬
