What is your role at HOPE, in your own words?
I get to coordinate production support for almost all the events here at HOPE. From Sunday mornings to classes to weddings! In addition, I coordinate volunteer coverage with the help of many amazing people for Sunday Serve volunteer teams as well. I love that my job means caring for the volunteers who make HOPE such a beautiful place to find life and community!
What’s your favorite verse/passage of scripture and why?
I love Psalm 51:10-17 it talks about returning to the joy of your salvation. Over and over again in my life I need to be reminded to return to that truth.
What year did you start coming to HOPE? Working at HOPE?
I started coming to HOPE consistently in 2021, with a brief time here in 2018 as a student in Hope Students. I interned back to back summers in 2022 and 2023, but didn’t officially join the staff until 2024!
What’s something that brings you joy?
When I have all my friends together in one place for a meal or game night it brings me so much joy. My wedding had my friends and family together, it was the best!
What’s your go-to comfort food or coffee order?
Kraft Mac & Cheese is my go to comfort food.
If you could instantly become an expert in something, what would it be?
Singing! I LOVE music and played trumpet all through middle school, high school, and into early college, but I have never been a great singer.
What’s something people might not know about you?
I grew up dancing at a studio in Glen Allen for 15 years. My favorite was tap dancing and I can still pick it up pretty well!
