Leandra Parks

DEACON | SINCE 2026

I was born and raised in The Bahamas and moved to the United States in my early 20s to pursue my undergraduate studies. After graduating—through many seasons where God faithfully provided—I moved from Georgia to Virginia in 2012 for a new work opportunity, and I’ve called Virginia home ever since. Professionally, I’ve spent over 15 years in marketing, specializing in digital marketing and data strategy for both B2B and B2C organizations.

As I’ve settled into life here in Virginia, I’ve grown to deeply appreciate not only my family and my Bahamian roots but also the rhythms that bring me joy—public speaking, volunteering, gardening, working out, and exploring new experiences. Above all, my greatest joy has always been my walk with the Lord. I gave my life to Christ at 16 during a youth conference and was later baptized, igniting a lifelong desire to serve Him.

At HOPE, I’ve been grateful to serve in several capacities, including Hope Kids, HOPE’s podcast, Hope Café, and sharing Scripture during special services. My faith is the foundation of who I am, and I strive to live with integrity, love, and a servant’s heart. Whether in ministry or in the workplace, my desire is to use my gifts to encourage others, support people in their walk with the Lord, and bring glory to God.
