What is your role at HOPE, in your own words?
I lead others to Christ by maintaining our buildings and addressing issues promptly. I ensure our systems, including computers and networks, run smoothly. Every task I complete, from fixing a leaky faucet to troubleshooting a server, helps create an environment for genuine connections with God, fulfilling our church’s mission to draw people closer to Him.
What’s your favorite verse/passage of scripture and why?
“Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?””
– Hebrews 13:5-6 ESV
Because He has never forsaken me! He has always walked beside me and even on the days that I have cursed His name because I didn’t know what was happening in my life.
