What is your role at HOPE, in your own words?
As an HCML resident on the Students team I build relationships with middle school and high school students to guide them in their walk with Christ, leading weekly small groups, teaching, and outreach events. I provide pastoral care through small group leadership and support high school student leaders. I also handle administrative tasks, participate in leadership development, and actively pursue my own personal and spiritual growth.
What’s your favorite verse/passage of scripture and why?
My favorite verse is Exodus 14:14 as Moses is speaking to the Israelites as they face the red sea and the Egyptian Army persecuting and hunting them. He speaks, “The Lord will fight for you, you need only to be still.” In times of anxiety I recite this verse as a breath prayer reminding myself that the Lord is in control.
What year did you start coming to HOPE? Working at HOPE?
In 2014 I started regularly attending HOPE and then started working here in 2025!
What’s something that brings you joy?
Getting to be with all the people that I love in one place without distractions.
What’s your go-to comfort food or coffee order?
A 7 Brew fizz.
If you could instantly become an expert in something, what would it be?
Banjo Playing.
What’s something people might not know about you?
My first job was a DJ in middle school on the east coast from Delaware to South Carolina for business events and parties.
