What is your role at HOPE, in your own words?
In my role at Hope Kids, I focus on supporting and encouraging our amazing team of small group volunteers. I help them feel prepared and confident by providing resources, offering guidance, and checking in regularly to make sure they feel valued and equipped. My goal is to create a strong, connected team so they can serve kids with joy and purpose each week.
What’s your favorite verse/passage of scripture and why?
Psalm 23 is deeply meaningful to me. Shortly after I began attending HOPE, Pete taught on this powerful scripture, and it became the comfort I had been searching for over the years. I had gone through one of the hardest seasons of my life—losing both of my parents at a young age. In that pain, Psalm 23 reminded me of God’s constant presence, peace, and care when everything else felt like it was falling apart. It has remained a steady source of strength, reassuring me that God is both my guide and my comforter, no matter what I face.
