What is your role at HOPE, in your own words?
I serve our college-attending and college-aged students by offering relationships, programs, and mentorship to serve them in their stage of life.
What’s your favorite verse/passage of scripture and why?
Genesis 22:14
I love this verse because it serves as a constant reminder that God is a provider. Regardless of my ability to provide for myself or provide for others, God is there fill the gap in all that we lack. Also, I just see Jesus so much in the story of God providing a ram in place of Abraham sacrificing Isaac.
What year did you start coming to HOPE? Working at HOPE?
I first came to hope as a 3rd grader in 2009, and I began working here in 2023.
What’s something that brings you joy?
Tacky Christmas lights!
What’s your go-to comfort food or coffee order?
Panda Express orange chicken.
If you could instantly become an expert in something, what would it be?
Piano, I really want to learn but certainly do not have the patience for it at this moment.
What’s something people might not know about you?
I have a prescription for glasses, but nobody knows because I almost never wear them. I just foolishly opt for squinting instead.
